Eligibility
Strata forbids short-term rental
If the property's strata bylaws do not permit short-term rentals, the operator cannot proceed regardless of City licensing.

Principal-residence requirement applies
The operator must reside at the property more than any other location in a calendar year; for a secondary suite or accessory building, the principal resident must live on the same lot. Vernon has not opted out of the provincial principal-residence requirement.

Guest and parking limits
