Where do you operate?
We operate in Kelowna, British Columbia today. Every other BC municipality is already in our registry as "coming soon" -- visit its rules page and join the waitlist to hear when we open there.
What does the service fee cover?
Our flat service fee covers the eligibility check, the guided application, the automated document pre-check followed by a person's review, preparing and filing your paperwork, and tracking your renewal. It does not include government fees, which the City of Kelowna and the Province of British Columbia set and charge separately -- see the exact current amount, with its source, on our rules page.
What government fees will I pay?
Government fees are set by the City of Kelowna and the Province of British Columbia, not by us, and they can change. Our rules page lists the current amount of each one, where it comes from, and the date we last checked it -- we never quote a government fee anywhere else without linking back to that page.
How long does licensing take?
A City business licence is required to operate an STR. Processing 2–4 weeks after a complete package. A Notice of Consideration for missing information allows 8 days from the email date to respond or the application may be refused, cancelled or suspended.
How long do you keep my documents?
We keep your uploaded documents and their automated pre-check results for 90 days after your application reaches a licensed, closed, refunded or expired state, then delete them automatically. You can ask us to erase them sooner at any time -- see our privacy policy.
Does an AI decide whether I'm licensed?
No. An automated pre-check reviews each document you upload and flags likely problems early, but a person reviews every result, and the licensing decision itself is always made by the City of Kelowna or the Province of British Columbia -- never by us or by the automated check.
Do you work with realtors, property managers or insurance brokers?
Yes -- our partner program lets realtors, property managers, developers and insurance brokers offer this licensing service under their own name. If you're an insurance broker, we only share a client's details with that client's explicit consent, and only with a broker actually licensed in British Columbia.
